Why are you offering free graduation photoshoot sessions?

As a low-income, first-generation college student, I was fortunate to make my education work through financial aid, support programs, and working while in school, but I also experienced how costly graduation photos can be. I deeply respect the value of photography and the work behind it, which is why this is my way of giving back.. What began as small gestures for friends, family, and fellow peers I met during graduation season, grew into a tradition rooted in community, celebration, and ensuring more graduates have the chance to feel seen and proud of how far they have come.

Are these sessions open for everyone?

As much as I'd love to photograph every graduating student, my availability is limited as I primarily schedule sessions on weekends with occasional weekday openings. Because of this, these sessions are offered to students graduating from a 4-year university in San Diego, CA. These sessions are provided at no cost in exchange for permission to use the images for my portfolio, website, social media, and other marketing or promotional materials, as I retain full rights to the photographs created.

What does a typical graduation session look like?

Each graduation session is one hour and designed for either an individual graduate or a small group of two to three people. All sessions will take place on-campus allowing us to cover 3-5 different spots, depending on campus activity & timing. Before booking, you will receive a short form to share your preferred locations and availability. Once details are confirmed, a contract is sent, and your session is officially secured after it is signed.
